FIRST DAY OF SPRING OF THE DRAGON 2024

Every Tet and Spring, the image of a Confucian scholar sitting next to a row of red paper and ink, perfecting each stroke for those who love letters, wishing for a new year of Peace, Happiness, Prosperity is a very beautiful image, bearing the traditional Tet spirit of Vietnamese people. The custom of asking for words at the beginning of the year, in addition to praying for luck and health, people also want to ask for the virtue and talent of the teacher and disciples and use the words to warn themselves. For that reason, this year right at the VietIS office, on the first working day after the Lunar New Year holiday, there was a special appearance of a confucian scholar with Chinese ink and red paper.

The appearance of the “young Confucian scholar” has brought small joys at the beginning of the year, conveying many cherished and longed for things of everyone. Some people pray for “happiness” and “fulfillment”, some people hope for their grandparents to “live long”, and some people hope for a year of “smooth” sailing, “prosperity”, “happiness”, “virtue”, and so on.

After a whole week of absence, the office seemed to warm up and become more bustling thanks to everyone’s return. The feeling of having a tea break with everyone, gossiping about Tet with everyone, is so much fun.

Every year, Boss Linh prepares a lot of lucky money for everyone – this is always the part everyone looks forward to the most and is also a tradition at the beginning of the year. Everyone will try to see who is lucky by drawing lucky money from the prepared lucky money envelopes with large envelopes such as VND 500,000, VND 200,000, VND 100,000.
