In July, VietIS upgraded its office security system from magnetic cards to facial and fingerprint recognition technology, aiming to improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience. This new system is powered by machine learning technology, a cutting-edge trend in today’s tech landscape.
Though the system is still new, VietIS’s employees have quickly adapted and expressed satisfaction with the following benefits.
✅Quick attendance process with highly responsive sensors. Simply walking by is enough for the system to recognize and register the user’s face.
✅Enhanced security, reducing the chances of fraudulent check-ins.
✅No more forgetting access cards or issues with scratched fingerprints when using the system.
✅Wide-angle camera capable of facial recognition from a large distance, functioning well in all lighting conditions, including low light.
However, the system’s high sensitivity can be both an advantage and a drawback. Be cautious—just passing by the system might result in both a check-in and check-out.
👉The IDT department is continuing to integrate this attendance system into the current Time Tracking Management system. As with any new implementation, some minor issues may arise, but IDT is committed to ongoing improvements to provide an even better user experience in the future.
