2021 will be over in two weeks. These days, VietIS Japan’s staff is busy both preparing New Year Gifts for Partners and creating Business and Personnel Recruitment Programmes for the following year. Besides, ongoing projects need to be urged to be completed on schedule as well as reviewed KPIs to see if they have met the demands before reporting to the Manager. As a result, the working atmosphere was always hustle and bustle as if it was about to explode.
Fortunately, Tokyo has regained its performance in recent days as the number of coronavirus cases in the community has remained low (10-20 cases/day). In addition, the team of VietIS has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The joyful atmosphere of Christmas and New Year makes the team’s spirit higher. Therefore, VietIS Japan’s team had an incredibly intimate outing taking place at Hoi An Quan Restaurant.
Perhaps, team members have not been home for a long time, so the purpose of this outing trip is to rediscover the taste of the home country with colleagues, who are also compatriots. Our celebration process was the same as in Vietnam. Firstly, we had a drink. After that, we went to a karaoke bar. Finally, we watched the football match between the Vietnam and Malaysia national football teams in the AFF Cup to strengthen the tension. The final score was 3:0 with the victory for the Vietnamese team closing an excellent party for members of VietIS.
This time, VietIS Hanoi is also busy running the deadline for the release project and borrowing the company’s equipment to work from home. After the social distancing days, people seem to appreciate the value of daily life, meetings with friends and colleagues full of small stories, handshakes, or hugs to greet each other in foreign lands. It’s delightful to know that you’re well and proud that even though you are far away from your country, you miss your roots and the cultural identity of the Vietnamese.
Let’s rest and restore our energy to be passionate again in the upcoming Sum-Up event on December 26!
